I thought of something trivial that really annoys me a few days ago.
Now I can't remember what it was and that's annoyed me even more!
That happens to me quite often. I've thought about carrying a note pad and pen or pencil to write those 'annoying beyond belief' moments down, but isn't that classed as obsessive?

This is my 20,000th CC post by the way!

Puzzle game procrastinator!
I wasn't too impressed with a couple in Lidl this afternoon. It is possible that they (coincidentally?) both had medical reasons for not wearing face coverings (mate - your big bushy beard doesn't count!) but that didn't give them the right to stand 0.5 metres behind me, chattering away and laughing. Even if there were not a bloody pandemic, they would be standing well inside my personal space! :cursing:

Talking of face masks, I'm beginning to dislike the numerous blue/white disposal ones I see on my travels.

People discard them like they do empty drinks bottles and often there is a bin nearby.

Unfortunately its the new discarded takeaway packaging. See plenty on my daily commute.

Poor spelling drives me to distraction; particularly when people are ranting on Facebook or when advertising something.
Company adverts, with spelling mistakes, are inexcusable.

Or, even, annoying, beyond expectation? ;)

Congratulations on the 20,000 mark by the way ;)

Wonky lampshades in television programmes annoy me way beyond reasonable necessity!!

For goodness sake... Straighten the blasted things up before filming starts, and keep them level!

I don't think this is trivial, but here goes. Driving into Accrington town centre this aft' i saw a lit up sign saying words to the affect of 'Motorists. Beware of pedestrians now that dark nights are here'. Yes that's all well and good, but i see many pedestrians wearing black clothing, with no reflective bits to add to the invisibility! I find myself driving way below the speed limit in case one of these types step out or wander into the road while gawping at their phones etc.

Edit....and don't get me started on unlit cyclists!!

But the onus should not be on everyone bar drivers of cars to make sure they are wearing reflective clothing! It is the drivers responsibility to be observant in areas with pedestrians. Obviously cycling at night with no lights is dumb.

I am observant, maybe too observant. I find myself looking out for 'peds in black' so much that maybe i'm not observing other traffic as much as i should be. I keep below the speed limit at all times, just in case i collide with a ped in black. That way surely if one steps out in front of me the police will check for skid marks etc and be able to determine what speed i was doing.🤔

Edit...When i was at primary school in the mid 1960's we wore 'diddy jackets'.

They were bright orange, tabard style. They didn't have light reflective bits on as i don't think it'd been invented then, but at least we did make an effort to be seen when walking to and from school on dark mornings and nights. Fifty years on road safety pedestrain wise has gone downhill, not improved in my opinion!
