Trike rear wheel '' stuck '' ?

I bought an old Mission Tilogy adult trike on Sunday . The left hand rear wheel cameoff with a bit of tugging,the right hand rear wheel would not budge. Would this be simple sticking after ? more than 5 years storage or would it be due to being on the same side of the chain ? total newbie as far as trikes concerned.

The manual suggests that the drive side wheel may need a bit of percussive persuasion.

Which side is the drive side? Lift both sides up, one at a time and spin the wheel to see if the crank turns at the same time. My thought would be the drive side would be the left side and the right should be clear to rotate in either direction without turning the cranks.

So you may have got the drive side off already.

Doesn't help with getting the other wheel off, but might lead to greater understanding.

One question, why do you want to take the wheel off?

if it the same as my kentex then the right hand wheel is the driven one and sits on a 3 prong hub, these can be tight or even corroded.

Thank you for the manual ,@JonBuoy ,thanks for the further information ,@raleighnut I had to move the trike,through a terrace house door . and to make it easier if i had to replace the tube @Sharky

Manual says to remove right hand wheel ,a mallet may be needed...and to install ,the wheel must line up with the flanges.. I will change tubes if needed without removing the right hand wheel...
