Just changed an inner tube on the rear wheel of a Brompton 6 speed, but the rear wheel doesn’t speed as freely as it did previously, checked the pins and they are both fitted with “top” at the top, anything else I could have done wrong I could check?

I did think the nuts were fairly lose when removing the wheel is this how they are meant to be?

My other bike is a Pinarello
Is it rubbing against the brakes? Are the brakes aligned correctly? Pics?

No, the back wheel doesn’t spin freely, not sure if thats because of the internal hub? Can’t remember how it was before I removed the wheel, also the cranks don’t turn backwards without a lot of resistance, again not sure if this was the case prior to the wheel removal. The chain has also come off a couple of times when folded and once when I came down a curb, tried removing the tensioner to make sure it was correctly fitted. Even when I push the bike the rear wheel has some resistance to it.

Can’t think what I may have done as followed videos etc

Can someone with a six speed brompton please check if the rear wheel spins freely without turning the cranks,

Is it a BWR or Sachs rear hub? Are the cone locknuts on the hub loose at all?

Not sure what brand, had a look just says wide ratio on it with the brompton logo, its a new brompton if that helps.
The nuts did seem loose prior to removing the wheel, from what i have read they should be tight so I tightened them to a normal torque, not too extreme.

Ok, it's a BWR. It won't spin quite as freely as a normal wheel, due mainly to the smaller diameter (less momentum) but also because the hubs are lubricated with a rather sticky grease. It is still worth checking the adjustment of the cones (at the LH side, you will need a 5/8" or 16mm cone spanner unless they've changed cone sizes). These hubs should have infinitesmal play when correctly adjusted - it should just be possible to feel a side-to-side rock if you grab the tyre and firmly shake it. If they are adjusted for zero play, the cranks tend to rotate forwards when freewheeling.
