Good morning,
Have you considered looking around to see who has what parts and building from what is available rather than buying a complete bike from one shop?
For example SPA seems to have these frames in stock https://www.spacycles.co.uk/m11b0s143p3873/SPA-CYCLES-Wayfarer-Frameset
It might then be the case of a chainset from Wiggle, wheels from SJS, a bit or two from Halfords and ebay and even something really unexpected such as peddles from Wilko. This way you would have a mostly new bike nowish rather than a long weight and the option in the future to replace just the bits that were second choice.
