Haven't there been numerous rumours that Ineos are interested in signing a number of kids coming up such as Storm, August, Wiggins, Bush? Perhaps they are leaving spots for more youngsters.

@bigbiker62 - that's possible. There's been a few rumours floating around the local race circuits around signings by GB youngsters.

Any names being mentioned? Hatd to get information over here in a Canada. I understand Ineos is considering a women's team for 2025. Perhaps there us no truth to the Remco rumours. Maybe the plan is to sign a few up and coming sensations and see how they develop. At the same making it a bit easier on Jim's pocketbook. Maybe you know more about what's happening.

I think we should adopt that as the new seasons of the year

There was discussion by some posters regarding interesting names in the peleton. The next generation is going to provide us with more I guess.

The women’s team EF Tibco SVP has folded due to sponsors pulling out. Sad news. Some excellent riders there such as Zoe Backstedt and Lizzy Banks but it’s generally just sad.

But confusingly, there will be a new EF-Cannondale team! They announced the signing of Coryn Labecki last week.

Yes, I was very confused until I found more today. That team is the female version of the men’s team. The existing EF Tibci SVP is an entirely different beast.

Confused me too. I hadn't realized that the existing EF team was completely independent from Vaughters team. I'm sure Zoe Backstedt and Ali Jackson will be in demand, but hope the other riders can find new teams too.

Vaughters has previous on closing down women's teams to protect his preferred men. Future of Garmin-Cervélo women’s team in doubt as Egon van Kessel released – http://www.velonation.com/News/ID/1...eam-in-doubt-as-Egon-van-Kessel-released.aspx

It'd be brave women who join his team. Or naïve.
