"Pinot has made a bet with his team-mates. He’ll delay his retirement by six months if he becomes French national champion in Cassel on June 25. Just FYI, the route is 238km with 15 laps of a 13km circuit featuring two steep walls, on the coast near Dunkirk."

He won't be extending by six months 😁

He's had an uo and down career. A few mid-season transfers and a hint of controversy here and there.
Massive pulls in the Giro to help Tao to the title.
But like Tony Martin in that he was a great TTer but could have done better inn shorter stage races if he'd had a mind to.

I was sort of hoping he's go out in style...you know TT stage of the Tour,Jump off the bike,throw his bidon/dummy and storm off into the sunset.😁

What an arse. He sounds like a nasty piece of work. Well done Trek.

I think Trek is my favourite team. Their women's team is fantastic and genuinely looks like a great team to be part of (unlike other, more successful teams) and I admire their stance here,
