Absolutely thrilling men's team pursuit final. I thought the Aussies might have been done when they lost a man but they were immense over the final kilometre in holding the Brits off.

Teun Mulder's performance requires no superlatives.

Those last ten laps in the women's scratch were insane.

Vicky's 4th World Title was superb - especially after slipping down the track.
I haven't seen Chris's 2nd round sprint against the German that he lost. Was it on Eurosport or BBC as I watched both but never saw that sprint round - maybe someone will put it on You Tube - It sounds like the German sprinted from the start but beat Chris by a photo-finish.
Would love to see it.

Eurosport showed it at the start of the second session, and it was basically as you describe it.

Good luck to anyone who tries this, but just to warn you that YouTube have pulled my videos of the women's events due to a copyright claim from World Championship Sports Network, Inc. (basically an alias for Universal Sports). I'm looking into it too see if I'll be able to get the videos back up, but don't hold your breath for YouTube coverage of these championships (and if you do find stuff it may not be there for long).

I was really pleased to see Vicky get the win as in the heats I thought she was struggling a little bit. Chris Hoy put on a good show but lost out by a whisker, a bit disappointing but you can't win them all as they say!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Great win for Queen Vicky .

Pity Chris Hoy was made to wait cycling the track on his own whilst his competitor Robery Forstemann, German allegedly had a problem with his bike ............. who then trounced Chris. Not very sportsman like.

Vicky got silver in the women's keirin but was just pipped by Lithuania's Simona Krupeckaite. A good performance from Vicky and I expect she will now work hard to try and improve that in future meetings!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I see that Mcquaid the muppet hasn't a clue or hasn't decided on the format of the Olympic omnium yet! It beggars belief that the squads don't yet know what the kilo and pursuit were ditched for.

Any addition to that sentence is entirely superfluous.

The latest pronouncements about a level playing field being the latest in his ever-expanding list of muppetry.

If the UCI was in charge of athletics we could expect to see Usain Bolt buying his trainers at JD Sports or risk the wrath of MPMcQ.

And yet they refuse to carry out homologation for manufacturers.
