What a beauty. You will notice a massive difference from your heavy hybrid.

I still use my hybrid for commuting shopping etc so every time I get on the roadbike I notice the huge difference.

I think my bike is about the same weight as yours and most other ally road bikes.

The wheelbase looks a bit long, and it's the wrong colour. Are you sure it's not a cheap replica?
They are very good these days at copying.

On the Bianchi website, the Via Nirone 7 Xenon Alu is said top be 9.64 kg with pedals. What do you want a heavy heap of cast iron like that for?
You could have my 1974 Peugeot PX10, that's 9.8 kg with a Brooks saddle and solid steel bottom bracket...

But for £750, what do you expect...

A sheep in wolf's clothing. All noise and no action. Mutton dressed as lamb.....

best not bother then eh? I hadn't even looked up the weight so cheers jimbo, seems pretty light to me.

I'll still use my dutch bike for pootling around when out with the missus on her pashley, going to the shops and the like. Just saw the bike and thought that's the one I want to ride. All it has to do is put a smile on my face when I sit on it and go out.

 worse or better ... the sooner you go to bed the quicker it'll be tomorrow (that's what I was told when I was little anyway) What time does the shop open?

We expect a ride report some time soon of course!

Have fun tomorrow,
