The sprint challenge won't be as stiff as the Tour but Farrar, Modolo, Bos, Coquard are there to name but some!
I wonder if he'd rather be at home but maybe he's itching to compete again.

Very low key with a break of pro conti riders taking 1 and 2 with the pack unable to close. Cav was 49 seconds back, as was Bos, so he maybe isn't too fussed about this one. Who knows!

Apparently a bit of controversy - the results were amended late last night, as the jury decided to reduce the deficit of a number of riders (including Cavendish) caught up in a crash inside the last 3km.

The Tour of Denmark is often decided by just a few seconds, so the small gap that Lars Bak got yesterday could prove very valuable.

He tweeted he's taking a month off for R&R with the family. Haven't heard him confirmed for any events in September yet... Wiggo doing the Eneco tour though I think?

Yup, Wiggo is down for the Eneco Tour. Mildly interesting that he's doing that while Froome is doing the non-WT USA Pro Cycling Challenge.

I seem to recall that it wasn't as bad as normal last year but my memory is increasingly hazy after a lifetime of brain cell loss and alcohol abuse.
