Just got back from the sprint spot at Walton-le-Dale won by Cavendish (I think the judge with the clipboard got off pretty quick).

Goodie bag better than last year

I signed up and finally e-mailed Rob Jeffires 48 hours before

instant e-mail back-" yes- be delighted to have you as a marshall!!"
he said something about
"problems with mass e-mailing"
eh???

I was at Glasgow finish- very few marshalls and 4 of them I talked to had only come down to support mates in the amateur races before ToB

agree on the goody bag- mind you gave away t-shirt to charity bag

I marshalled the last two years and found it disorganised like many things in this country (details, communication and thinking things through and 'what-ifs' are not important are they? Received no acknowledgement of my post race comments.). Did not offer this year and doubt there will be any reason to change my mind in the future. Amateur oganisation for professional cyclists.
