I can't put my finger on it but he smells cleaner than some of the others.

Yes, that's maybe it. I don't know. I have a sneaking suspicion though that I'll be quietly keeping an eye on him, maybe even smiling when he does well... don't want to get too ahead of myself though!

Look, you lot, I'm going off in a huff if you're all going to start liking Cuddles:biggrin:
Thin end of the wedge.
You'll start supporting HRH LA if you're not careful!

What does HRH stand for? I assume the first H is Hormone but I don't get the rest...;)

There's a difference between not being very attacking (which I don't think anyone would dispute describes Cadel Evans well for most of his career - the recent Dauphiné being a notable exception as you point out) and being a wheel-sucker. Evans often does his share when he's in groups.

It's the flouncing, I think.

I can't remember any rider in recent history threatening to decapitate someone for stepping on his dog.

See, I like mad divas. And Cuddles is definitely a mad diva. Shame he isn't as entertaining on the bike though.

Last year's TdF, he tried to do interviews in French.... bless. That was entertaining. The interviewers reverted to English.

Fair dos actually. He gave it a go and I'm the last person to be critical!

He didn't have the chaps at the last tour, mind.

Silence just weren't up to supporting him, it seemed to me, so he was left with constantly countering on his own, and the pressure really did seem to get to him after a while.
