What does HRH stand for? I assume the first H is Hormone but I don't get the rest...

There's a difference between not being very attacking (which I don't think anyone would dispute describes Cadel Evans well for most of his career - the recent Dauphiné being a notable exception as you point out) and being a wheel-sucker. Evans often does his share when he's in groups.

Last year's TdF, he tried to do interviews in French.... bless. That was entertaining. The interviewers reverted to English.

He didn't have the chaps at the last tour, mind.

Silence just weren't up to supporting him, it seemed to me, so he was left with constantly countering on his own, and the pressure really did seem to get to him after a while.
