It's incredible; the deals and tactics, conversations and bartering that go on. And it's dynamic too. The alliances and power shifts in flux depending on a variety of factors. Something that we punters are not really aware of happening.
On an unrelated point, I had to chuckle at this...
I always thought Cavendish was definitely in the heralded club of sprinters that bring up the rear, enjoying each other's company and their own tour. Imagine my surprise when I saw Cavendish finish on his own, only 6 minutes something after Hushvold on Friday. I could not believe it!
