I think it was more that Adam was asking his boss if he could ride as his Team leader Pogacar was just behind and in a good position. Simon is his teams leader so he doesn't need to ask for permission to work.

Rival teams are definitely allowed to work together - cycling wouldn't work without this.

I appreciate that.
It just seems surprising on day one of TdF to see that happening. I doubt it would have happened if they weren’t brothers.

Watching the highlights on ITV 4. Skoda ads this year are great.

Probably paid for better adverts with the sponsorship they withdrew from the women's tour of Britain that contributed to its cancellation this year.
