Topeak rack mount noise

Hello, new here so hopefully this is the right place to ask.
I have one of the Topeak slide on trunk bags with the drop down pannier bits. Does anyone else notice how much the bag which is clever and quick to slide on and off the matching rack just rattles all the time as you are going along? I can see that there has to be some tolerance in the moulding to let it mount reasonably easily and quickly but the play seems to be enough for it all to get a bit annoying by the time you do a few miles in the lanes. I'm always stopping to check that it's not the rack coming loose.
I'm thinking I might go for a different trunk bag arrangement unless perhaps anyone has also suffered this and has a good fix?

Mines a bit rattly but I think it's as much to do what's in it and the state of the roads. It's such a clever piece of kit, I'd be loathe to change for that reason alone I've never worried about it coming off when properly clipped on

On the positive side, the rattling does cover up the squeaky noises from me and other bits of the bike.

Yes another topeak users really like the system . Mine rattled only on rough ground

Another long-term muti rack/bags user, can't say the rattling has ever bothered me.

Mines been used a lot for the past 2 years, and when loaded is silent. When it's empty I do get some rattling on bumpy ground. I guess you could stick a strip or 2 of that furry draft excluder strip onto the bottom of the sliding bit of the bag, lengthways. Might shut things up a bit whilst not affecting the function.

I'd thought that but perhaps just at the end most towards the seatpost so that it's easy to get going and then tightens up as you slide the bag further on. May be easier than getting Cornwall County Council to make the lanes smoother. Or I could just cycle singing .La la la' with my fingers in my ears.
Anyway, it's not really a big problem as such, just one of those annoyances that is probably more noticeable the further and more knackered you are.

Are you sure it's not the mounting strips that attach to the seat stays rattling against the underside of the top plate? I sawed mine off just after the last screw.

Mines always been pretty silent and I have the same combo as you. As suggested, make sure that the elastic strips are nice and tight because they can rattle when hooked in.
