or maybe this, instead of the bizman,

http://www.halfords.com/cycling/tools-maintenance/tools/park-tool-ak37-advanced-mechanic-tool-kit

which is seems like the sensible option in the long run?

does anyone have experience of purchasing these tools at halfords when they are on 3 for 2? is it a cheaper route?

I've had the AK-37 kit for years now, and never regretted buying it. I've added a few tools to it over the last few years, too.

Has anyone priced these kits up and compared it to buying tools seperately?

I'm going down the route of buying as I need them. So far I've spent a whole £16 on a crank tool and tyre levers. Obviously there are items that most people have like screw drivers and Allen keys

One piece of advice. Never buy a cheap tool. Good that you've bought the Park Tools.

which extra tools have you bought to add to the park tools? thanks.
I ended up replacing the chain breaker tool, because I somehow managed to break the Park Tool one. I also bought a 4th-hand tool, useful for installing cables, and a rubber mallet. I've replaced the grease a few times.

thanks ffoeg and victor. i too have added up and the park tool set seems expensive today. especially since their screwdrivers dont have a great rep. i already have spanners, lube, chainbreaker, etc.

its an impossible choice again. maybe i should just buy separate when needed. im going to cancel the park tool order.

Which tools have you not used at all?

Edit: Furthermore, is there a need for all those Cone Spanners and range of bottom bracket tools? Do they just cover a range of bikes rather than specifically what you may have. Nearly bought the AK-38 set last year, but this stopped me.
