Being a newbie, I am just building up kit as required. Looking for Bib Tights and seen the Madison Shield Thermo's with pad for a good saving and wondering if they are any good? Also wondering if they will be too warm for riding in Spring and Autumn or if they will be ok, as well as during the Winter?

Cheers guys.

Personally, too warm is better than too cold. But you'll need knees-out kit come the warmer spring days. And, personally again, you'll find you go quicker when it's warmer. I don't know the Madison ones but 2 sets of kit do work.

I have some Specialized Bib Shorts and a couple of SS Jerseys already, so covered for warmer times already. Might take a punt at £49 instead of £74 usual price.
