Hi all,
I've been using a Garmin Edge Explore for a couple of years or so.

I Just got a very good deal on a Bryton 750 SE, I've tried it out and I'm pretty happy with the features, battery life etc and want to keep it. The only issue I have is that the screen doesn't seem all that bright to me (it was a very bright, sunny day to be honest!) and the text on the next instruction seems too small (lastly the screen colours aren't the best and can't be changed)

Has anyone got any advice to improve this please? (I'm not interested in advice to try another make / model etc)

Many thanks 👍 👍

I have the same and have noticed that it can be a bit dull in bright sunlight, I tend to have mine set at a slight angle. I don't have it set on max brightness either. Personally prefer it the garmins as it hasn't failed and does what it says on the box. Can be a bit clunky compared to others, but I wasn't prepared to go with another garmin after so many fails. Like you got a cracking deal at the time.

Thanks for the reply, that's interesting. I'm not entirely sure I have the brightness settings set up in the best way. Maybe I need to experiment a bit as the manual doesn't tell me very much (backlight and night setting or whatever it is ☺️)

I agree, I may need to change the viewing angle too. I do still prefer it to the Garmin which was sluggish in use (maybe I should mount both and compare both screens in use side by side, I bet the garmin is no better! ☺️)
