Todays ride with Andy

I met up with Atyl1972 AKA Andy outside Storey Arms and had a ride into Brecon town centre, stopped for a snack in "The Cafe" and then retraced the steps wheels. This was Andys' first out on his Road Bike and he did bloody well considering he joined the clipless club and rode almost twice as far as he ever has before.

I take my hat helmet off to him and hope to ride with him again soon

The only sour note was the number of idiots showing off their horns. That said it was fun to wave at them as they went by

Much appreciated Dave, really enjoyed the ride into Brecon with your good self, and yes i joined the clipless club with 2 falls, but i got up and carried on regardless, a little disappointed to stop several times on the return leg but it was my first ride in over 10 years and first ever on a road bike, so am now thinking about my next jaunt whilst parking my very sore bum on my sofa felling sorry for my pain, but thats part of the course i understand, anyways again big big thanks to angelfishsolo for his patience with me and guidance, big up on him...

Why all the horn use - were you riding 2 abreast ?
I hope you havnt done irreperable damage to cyclist / driver relations in your part of the country.

Nope Andy was in a very weak secondary, I was in secondary behind him. Think the loonies were out of the asylum today

Secondary is about a meter from the curb or side of the rode, primary is centre of the lane.
