Angel Angel Down We Go Together by Morrissey.

Started singing it at work for the first time in about ten years and had to dig it out when i got home.

Wonderful

The first Gorillaz album not something I would normally listen to, really liked it in a big melting pot stir it and see what comes out way.

may i recommend folk getting itunes 8? it has a function where you click one song and it will make a playlist of up to 100 songs. how it picks them i'm not sure, but it may be related to year, known related artists and possibly utilising itunes' database of what people purchase.

you can then put it on the ipod.

i like!

The KingSize 5 - the bass player is Sean Kelly (not the cyclist, I hasten to add, but someone I know really well!)

It's not bad, but it's not a "genius".

If I select "Light Flights" by Pentangle, it correctly gives me a lot of Bert Jansch, but then it just looks for the most obvious things like anything tagged as "folk music", along with plenty of pseudo folk drivel like Joan Baez. I'd really like it to include things like influences (so it'd give me Johnny Marr, Led Zep and Neil Young).

About 5/10 so far then.

Well I was going to listen to the superb Real Animal by Alejandro Escovedo but I may just have to have a Bert Jansch night now. No bad thing either.

I am downloading itunes 8 as we speak, love my Ipod so much find it difficult to cycle without it especially for the dullest commute ever, unless i am getting sick of my playlist then I wrench my ear phones out in a rage. at the mo though the following is keeeping me amused....

town called malice
seven nation army - white stripes
Flathead- the fratellis
work- kelly rowland
the age of understatement- last shadow puppets
homecoming - kanye west
living proof- Kelis
Shut up and let me go - the Ting Tings
Something Good - Utah Saints
Back to Black - Amy Winehouse
The Pretender- Foo Fighters
Get on top - Tim Buckley
I believe in miracles - The Jackson Sisters
Tiny Dancer - Elton John
Fancy - Bobby Gentry

well I could go on but I realise you might not be that interested, but I do recommend the above for cycling, well today I do, I'm easily bored, I would like to hear more recommendations of playlists please. I must say I can't listen to folk while cycling it just dosn't fit for me except Pentangle's Way behind the sun.
