Rats!;)

 Those look mad! Even madder than those trainers with little wheels in the heels...

Actually, they look like they are just large flowerpots with elastic...

<goes off to look for elastic>

8 inches is tiny. You sure about that?
You'd need one for each foot...
Are you sure he is still talking about trampolines?;)

I've used a 12' trampoline with safety net and it is great fun but I wouldn't have one unless it was in a huge garden. They take up too much space otherwise.

I would suggest extreme caution with a trampoline. The two of the worst injuries I have received were from falling on a trampoline, not even falling off it. I did a lot of trampoline training at college and continued afterwards in a sports centre with instruction. I have also played five a side football, ice hockey, cricket etc.

You would think that landing on a "bouncy" surface, would not cause injuries. It does. I damaged the cruciate ligament on my left knee. Just doing a warming up exercise, that I had done trillions of times, but landed with one knee a fraction ahead of the other. Also nearly broke my neck on another occasion.

As someone said earlier look at a website which tells you about the possible dangers.

What would you do?

I would not waste my money on one. They take up too much space and the 2 recent incidents I have had to take my lad up to A&E have both been when he was on someone elses trampoline.
