Muc-off Bike Spray for keeping all bar chain/cassette clean and lubed.

Finish Line Dry Lube for chain/cassette.

ACF50 for keeping shiny bolts etc rust free. This is by far the best lightweight anti-corrosion product I have used for applications including sea-going boats.

Having just read all of the above posts (yes both pages) I'm now completely confused! I can't use WD40, or can I? if I just use it as a degreaser I don't know the difference between wet and dry lubrication (well I do but best not go in to that subject here) I musn't use three in one oil. That said before I got the bike out yesterday I did both as chain and jockey wheels seemed dry and were making a noise So can someone just tell me just in laymans bike terms whats best I say this even after spending a lot of years in the service/ maintainance of all things related to locks so I do have some working know how

WD40 is fine, just do it very often as it doesn't hang around long

I use Ambersill Chain Lube for the gear sprockets, chain and derailer, I clean everything and re lube once a month or if I have been in muddy slop then I clean it all streight away and re grease.

Cleaning the frame, seat, and everything else I use washing up liquid and hot water and an old car cleaning brush. Nothing fancy.
