WD40 is fine, just do it very often as it doesn't hang around longHaving just read all of the above posts (yes both pages) I'm now completely confused! I can't use WD40, or can I? if I just use it as a degreaser I don't know the difference between wet and dry lubrication (well I do but best not go in to that subject here) I musn't use three in one oil. That said before I got the bike out yesterday I did both as chain and jockey wheels seemed dry and were making a noise So can someone just tell me just in laymans bike terms whats best I say this even after spending a lot of years in the service/ maintainance of all things related to locks so I do have some working know how
