If my front ever comes off, this is what my chainset does, even if off from the 52 ring, just gentle easy it back on with the shifter and away you go.Sometimes you can persuade the chain back on by shifting into a larger chainring on the front.
I'm sorry to hear that. I found that the clip I posted was really useful. Maybe I was really lucky but I no longer need to take the bike to the LBS when things drift out of tune. Watch it and give it another go.I watched a you tube video and thought I would have a go at ajusting the mech myself.
Never again, a quick trip to my LBS and £10 later everything is running lovely again..
Don't touch the screws, unless you know what your doing.
