Clearing out my den today and found one of Hebe Jr's reading books from primary school (she's 14 now....) so took the opportunity for a tiny ride to drop it back. 5.21km in the sun there and back. Some grumbling in the gear changes so I think a tiny chain clean and lube might be in order too.

A 10k round trip on the Orange Brommie earlier today. Ended up popping in to the Cafe attached to the Wesleyan Church in Poole High street for lunch of Cheese Omelette, salad chips and coleslaw.

I’ve just found this thread and I love it! I shall contribute next time I do a little pootle!
Great, isn't it? All my rides this year will go here; I'm unlikely to surpass 'tiny' for some time after this surgery.

A tiny joke. Chap walks into a bar and orders a pint. He has a minute newt on his shoulder. Barman says, "That's unusual. What's its name?" Chap replies, "Tiny." Barman says, "Why call it Tiny?" Chap says, "Cos he's my newt. I can call him what I like."
Hope this is tiny enough for this thread. Might even raise a tiny laugh.

I'm hoping to get a tiny ride in on Thursday or Friday. It's only been a few days and I'm missing them already.

Hurrah! Lovely to have you here 😀

"tiny" is always relative to not riding at all, and I expect that your "tiny" rides will be a huge step in your recovery journey.

Made me laugh!

Six miles, maybe. Took the car for a service, had my Carrerra folding bike in the back. Frosty ride back home and then a slightly warmer return journey when the car was ready.
Lovely use of a folding bike!

Ah yes, the mile-long walk to get to the bike.
Sometimes it feels like 5 miles from the sofa to the garage (it's really not 😂).

I ventured to the co-op and fruit shop on a tiny ride at lunchtime. It used to be a regular thing but recently I keep finding excuses to walk instead of ride. Which is silly as riding is much quicker and the Sheffield racks outside the shop were put there at my request.

Ivy, who works in the fruit shop, and I then put the world to rights while I shopped
