Hi to you all

I've just put air in my tyres and I have to say it was a battle and a half to get em up to the required 110 psi. I'm thinking this would be very difficult with a mini pump. Are there any that are better than others?
Try filling the tubes using a track pump (aka floor pump) at home, then you'll probably find you won't need to fill them for a week, unless you get a flat tube. You can get floor pumps reasonably cheaply online, e.g. at Chain Reaction Cycles, Wiggle, etc. As for mini-pumps, Lezyne seem to be a popular brand, but I'm no expert on mini-pumps.

I've got a Joe Blow I've had for about 9-10 years and still works fine, the pressure gauge isn't that far out either, get my pounds if I needed another.

Cheesy three

1 - sense of humour when you see the hills
2 - good brakes for coming down them there hills
3 - good shorts to keep your regions clean and tidy and not show mess when your brakes don't work!!!!!

Cheers Victor. Luckily I've got a track/floor pump. I'm not a particularly weak girl (honest!) but it was quite a battle getting em properly inflated. I'm guessing a mini pump would not be suitable. This is a shame as it's on loads of these lists.

I aim to wear brown cords just in case my brakes don't work

Thanks all again for your responses x
