Hey y'all

I'm a new/returning cyclist, picking up my stews later today

My question is, which three cycling essentials could you not do without? Especially those you wish you'd known about when you started out!

Cheers guys peace out

  1. Spare tubes
  2. Mini pump
  3. Clipless pedals / shoes
My wife's list (for cycling essentials I should use) would be somewhat different:
  1. Helmet
  2. Phone
  3. Taxi fare home

I'm guessing you have a track/foot pump at home - if not put that on the list as it makes life SO much easier when it comes to actually filling the tyres.

1)stuff to sort that puncture at the side of the road(tube/pump/levers)
2)padded shorts
3)If you don't know many roads near you, a map. These can be freely available from your local library in some areas, and feature all of the cycling routes/colour code roads on how busy they can be.

It's a bit of a cheaty response, but being able to keep moving when out is blooming important hence 1 being so long.
