Thoughts specialized rockhopper

Iv been offered another rockhopper for £150 so now I'm stuck with which to go with

Seems its a comparable bike to the rocky so choose which you prefer. I went for the rocky firstly because I liked the look of it and then I found out it was well regarded.

Iv looked at them both and they both seem alike obviously different designs but spec wise I'm kinda swaying to the rockhopper because I know it's more well known @macp.

I am biased though dude as I really like Specialized for the build quality and overall familiarity having had them before. Im sure GT`s are built just as well though.

The Rockhopper frame (and perhaps Specialized more generally) is excellent. It's something that can be a great foundation if you get the upgrade bug. The components are a bit meh imo and in fact this year's model isn't as good as my 2011 model was. Except for the frame.

I have no idea about the quality of GT frames so can't comment I'm afraid.

Thanks guys I ended up with the rockhopper for £150 looks a bargain he wanted £250 but managed to work him down
