Do you have the C2W voucher now then? I seem to remember reading on here that the new 2012 roadbikes look better but have less good components

this is another one but cheaper, is it better or not?

I'm not an expert but it sounds better to me, it seems to have higher spec components Tiagra/sora mix, the wheels are R500 compared to unbranded and the first bike has alu where as the second bike has carbon forks. A minor point the 23mm tyres will also be faster IMO and its got conti whereas the first bike has more p prone kendas. The Hellfrauds description of the first bike doesn't match the spec

The Vanquish is a great bike for the price but if you go for last years (The red one) it's better speck and on sale now for about £70 less than this years Green one. You can get another 10% off if you sign up to the mailing list then do the short question form they will give you a discount code for online orders, order online then give them the code in the shop when you go to collect it. If you have the c2w voucher you need to spend all of it so use the discount for extras.

I got last years and have just done the first 1000 miles on it and am very happy with it.

I'm 5' 11" and got the large but there is plenty of adjustment left it would be too big for me if I put the seat any higher.

My local Halfords will normally let you go for a ride around the car park and if you ask when it's not a busy time will usually put one on a turbo for you if they think it will get a sale.

did have a ride but they let me sit on it, move around on it, they were very helpful, cannot complain at the service they were giving advice for about an hour, no question was too stupid! it felt pretty good size wise
