I thought "what sort of sick fark wants to post lots of photos of misery online?"Surely a matter for the viewer to decide? When I saw it I thought of the utter banality of murder, the pointlessness of Lennon's death, the reality of violence imposed upon everyday objects.

Still as striking now as then ,a very harsh existance then and possibly no better now , the photographer and National Geographic obviously made a tidy sum out of her , I wonder if they ever felt any compasion and helped her family in any way ,
