I wonder whether it's now time to assemble all the things which people say they've never done, and ask others to put in which of those things they have done? For example:

I've never been to Africa
I've never been able to juggle
I've never been in a submarine

... how many folks have in fact done each of those things?

I've been to Africa (Kenya, 1995 - and Civil unrest broke out whilst we were there... no big surprise though as my Wife is jinxed and we always have *interesting* holidays, but that's a different thread entirely)

I can juggle - albeit not with any more than 3 balls

I've never been in a submarine though - sorry!


For my 3 things-I've-never-done-but-will-do-one-day :

I've never been skiing
I've never been in a hot air balloon
I've never seen the Aurora Borealis (or Australis (sp?) for that matter!)

I can claim 3 of those 4, it wouldn't take too many guesses to find the one I have very little chance of achieving.

Drive an truck and reverse it into a tight spot so i can stand back and have a huge smile.
Do a 100 mile ride(should be doing one near the summer i hope)
Gone touring on my bike
Ride a unicycle
Get a huge convoy of cyclists going with the Convoy theme tune playing out loud.(abit sad but it would be amazing )

I've driven right past Snowdonia and even walked around Bethgelet (Spelling..) but did not climb.
Not gone near Scaffell Pike other than the M6 on the way to Whitehaven.
Never been near Ben Nevis.

Never ridden a century...furthest ever was 75 miles when I was 16 on my 32lb mountain bike with full weather gear and back pack.

Been very close to achieving my s*x wish. Does a 45 minute gap between one and another count? ( I was young and have now grown up and wiser....but I'd still like to achieve this )

Hopefully collecting my nice new road bike this weekend if not before. can't ride until my pedals arrive off back order though...
