Drugs - question has never come up
although the smoke coming from under my neighbour's door when at University might count - it was a small shared corridor (8 foot long) with no other openings other than his door, mine and the one to the rest of the block - the smoke coming under his door was quite impressive

He was a medical student!!!!

Anyway - also smoking and proper gambling - like casinos and poker games and all that - just not interested

otherwise
er
things like boxing and the like - why go into an environment where someone else is going to try to hurt you????

Lots of things I would like to do but health makes it a bad idea - no point in getting red and white helicopters out just so I can "have a go"
would like to try a holiday doing some serious Scottish mountains but that would be stupid - did some when I was young but never knew where I really was - other read the map and planned it - would like to do it properly but won't

Same for buying an off shore boat - would love a nice SUnSeeker or similar but even if I could afford it it would be irresponsible

jumping out of an aeroplane is a non-starter - as it one of those higher level rope walk things - tried one - got 1 yard and came back! The ropes are fine - just put them near the damn ground!

Did loads of drugs in my late teens, in fact I’m surprised I’m still here!

Never did a degree, (probably because of the drugs!) which I still regret, although I have had a pretty successful career without one.

I swapped a bit of a jam butty for a smoke when about 9. Didn’t like it, and didn’t try again.

I've never liked jam butties either.

Got to be honest, I never did well in school, but I reckon a lot of the clever kid's who went on to university in my year, would happily swap the rewards I've garnered in my career. I used to think if I'd known then what I know now, blah blah blah, but the truth is, I did what I did because I wanted to and I was desperate to be unleashed on the working world, and spending any more time in education was never going to do it for me. That changed years later when I realised I wasn't going to be the best or the strongest forever, and now I've learned that I pretty much would have been successful at anything I was motivated to succeed at, which probably sounds like I'm full of it, but its just an honest assessment of my experiences.

A century ride.

Thought I'd done one seven years back but was later told by a few friends I was about three miles short.

I only did it (on a mtb) because everyone else seemed to be doing them. It's something I'll never do now as three hours with my a*se in a saddle is my comfirt/tedium threshold.

Cheat and get an old brooks saddle!!!👍👍
