I am no longer eligible for a free flu vaccination. The age limit seems to have been raised to 65.

You might qualify if you have a close relationship with someone on the vulnerable list. Flu and Covid.

All my neighbours are elderly and are either ill or have disabilities, in comparison i feel like a spring chicken...well not quite but fit n functioning :laugh: Guy across the way cheerily told me that nobody leaves here except in a body bag :rolleyes: I shall keep pushing the pedals and delay the grim reaper visitation. :okay:

I felt old when the age limit was reduced to 55 (or whatever it was a few years ago) making me eligible for one.

I think the flu jab age went down to 50 for a year or so during the pandemic; they were trying to avoid/minimise a 'twindemic'.

An illness is more likely to harm me than a jab, so... Having jabs doesnt make me feel young again, but jabs might help keep me young.

It always was, until COVID, when they lowered it temporarily to 50.

I was quite surprised to get mine (and COVID jab) last year, as I was still under 65 at the time of receiving it. But I was told then that you get it if you will be 65 by the end of the flu season (which is considered to be end of March), and I turned 65 in January.
