Ah, answer here as always. Didn't realise it was a wider thing.Post Office Counters moving in from 2013 has to have helped.
I presume the airport and station stores make money and keep the others afloat. Not so much bothered/troubled but seriously puzzled.

We're all different. They might have solid oak furniture throughout the house, expensive TV subscriptions etc. I have a theory that some people would spend all their money whether they earnt £500/month or £4k/month. I've also known managers who earn £70k+ a year, and like to join in with the lowly administrators when they say "I can't wait until payday"A colleague and friend told me that holidays are great but it is saving up for them, what with bills and day to day living.
Now, she and her husband both work, mortgage is paid off, no kids or dependants, she gets a lift to and from work most days so doesn't pay out on bus fare, they are not materialistic people so where does their money go
No idea. Not a favourite player of mine for that very reason, and you have to go far down the bitrate scale to screw up the bass to any degree...Why did Peter Hook play his bass so high on Joy Division tracks? Did he have foreknowledge of the poor bass quality on MP3 recordings?
Constant need to have a 'conversation',
That's an easy one, but not for this sub-forumConstant need to have a 'conversation', rather than discussion, or even just talk about. As in 'Labour needs to have a conversation around why votes were lost', for example.
Does anybody really stick to the stupidly small "portion sizes" on food packaging?
