A colleague and friend told me that holidays are great but it is saving up for them, what with bills and day to day living.
Now, she and her husband both work,mortgage is paid off, no kids or dependants, she gets a lift to and from work most days so doesn't pay out on bus fare, they are not materialistic people so where does their money go

We're all different. They might have solid oak furniture throughout the house, expensive TV subscriptions etc. I have a theory that some people would spend all their money whether they earnt £500/month or £4k/month. No idea. Not a favourite player of mine for that very reason, and you have to go far down the bitrate scale to screw up the bass to any degree...

We can put man on the moon and construct a microchip smaller than a grain of sand. But we cant design supermarket trolleys that easily pull apart. 
And as for those imbeciles that rather than finding a trolley of the same type, will happily return their trolley and connect it back to back with a different type.......
