Why is "organic" supposedly such a good thing ? Organic simply implies carbon, usually long-chain carbon molecules. Every single thing you eat is organic pretty much, other than salt (I am probably missing others, but you get my drift).
If people mean food grown without the use of fertilisers, then invent new word for it, don't misuse a perfectly good one.
On another note : "This is a quality <fill in the blank>" annoys my wife immensely - High quality, low quality, what bl**dy sort of quality ???
