Why is "organic" supposedly such a good thing ? Organic simply implies carbon, usually long-chain carbon molecules. Every single thing you eat is organic pretty much, other than salt (I am probably missing others, but you get my drift).

If people mean food grown without the use of fertilisers, then invent new word for it, don't misuse a perfectly good one.

On another note : "This is a quality <fill in the blank>" annoys my wife immensely - High quality, low quality, what bl**dy sort of quality ???

How long were the male strippers in The Full Monty able to make a living from it? None of them were very well built or attractive. One was rather fat and one was rather middle-aged.The women in their local community might come out to see their willies once or twice, but after that I expect they'd get bored. I have to disagree actually, I was on the train to London during the summer and it was pretty cool - and vice versa, over winter months the train was pretty warm too!

Me: *massive sigh* YES....(while in my head really wanting to say NOPE. I BOUGHT THIS UNIFORM FOR THE FUN OF IT MATE)

REALLY?! YOU DIDN'T SEE MY HAND THERE?!

When I have a queue of customers at reception, and they have to go through the turnstiles, they all see the one previously doing it wrong with their swipe cards and I SWEAR TO GOD THEY ARE LIKE LEMMINGS! They all swipe their membership cards the same, but moan each time. EVEN AFTER I TELL THEM HOW TO DO IT RIGHT?!!!!!

'Holistic' is the word that used to annoy me. It has fallen out of fashion now, but there used to be a holistic approach to everything.

I see this frequently. I'm gobsmacked at the amount of people who will toss the money on the counter and not even look at the till operator...like they'e some kind of leper. I often think...'WTF IS WRONG WITH YOU ?'. They must have scintillating lives, the sad barstewards.

You can easily get round this problem by only ever buying socks of the same colour and style.

Then you just have the problem of why do the socks in the drawer develop holes in the same place and on the same day?

My heart kinda sinks when I get coloured socks brought for me, usually at xmas and, despite me telling anyone that'll listen, plain black socks will be great thanks...dont get coloured ones, just black
