When such as Roman emperors had food testers to test their food......obviously,how long did the emperor wait to see if it was safe to eat or not? My thoughts are that if the tester didn't drop dead there and then,the emperor would then eat the food,but didn't they think that a slow working poison might've been added to the food?🤔

Why do people wait until they are driving away before putting on their seatbelts? It's more difficult and dangerous to boot. I can't imagine it saves anyone any time so what's the point?

Because i can. Do not see it as dangerous as you do not have to take your eyes off the road.
