I climbed Mont Blanc this year and done the normal 3 peaks challenge in the past so reading this thread I thought this may be the event for me!! Then I looked at some of the photos from this years event and thought no way!!

The thing I learned from walking them is that the only worse thing I can imagine is riding a bike up them.

I doff my hat to anyone who can!

This event is a breach of the trades descriptions act - it's no way a cyclo-cross. More an adventure race with bike to help a bit when you are not running/walking/falling over. No coincidence that fell runners often do remarkably well. Mad, but what's life without a bit of silliness?

Used to fancy it when I was crossing in the mid-90s & during brief return (2007 - 2010), but really fancy the Fell Race now
Trouble is; anyone can get a 3P CX place, if they're (un)lucky enough to get an entry, but, the 3P FR requires provable race qualifications
You have had to have finished certain Catagory (distance/severity) races to be considered, in the (I think) 18 months prior to attempting to enter

Scroll down to 'Entries'/'Qualifications'

I had one 18 miler in the bag, but it was getting to other races to get another qualifier

Maybe, before I'm 50??
