It's a risky moment with that melted lard and boiling water mix and the first time I did it years ago there was a bit of a disaster so I'm very careful now.

There was a stain on the kitchen ceiling when he stuck a spoon in and it erupted like Crakatoa according to his post on here.

I love Christmas dinner. We had all the family over and my parents kindly bought the turkey and slow cooked it before bringing it down. It was delicious. There was enough left over to have another meal with all the trimmings for breakfast!
