You steal goods that are older or worn, then wait for the insurance to replace them and nick the new ones.
It's pretty ceratin that the bike was taken by the mobile community that has currently taken up residence very close to where the bike was chained up, it'll have gone down the metal yard for scarp by lunch time today, along wit the 27 other bikes, 7 lawnmowers & a variety of other shed type items that have been reported stolen over the last 48 hours!!
Pretty sure the pikeys don't know where we live, so little chance of them coming looking for new bikes, if they do & are lucky enough to get into my garage, which overnight is blcoked by the car, deadlocked & alarmed, they'll find the bikes all locked onto bolted wall brackets, and i've been out & bought 3 Gold SoldSecure locks just to be extar careful for when the bikes are out n about
And these 'gentle travelling folk' wonder why no-one wants them in their areas...?
It does indeed Angel,
I have no problem with gypsys, proper gypsys that is, we have a static site just out of the village & the ones that live there are lovely, my great great great grandparents came over here in a caravan, they settled in a village lived good lives.
But the type that just descend upon your lands, run riot, cause chaos & then move on leaving their mess, waste & filth behind just get on my tits TBH!
Whereabouts? I lived in Southcote for my sins.Poor Stan, he's better off in side in the warm
Ah Reading.. I used to visit there often LOL!
