Ah that crunchie feeling,;) Im starting another hobby tomorrow, so have been looking forward to my two days off as I can get my base board built, as I have everything I need to hopefully complete it tomorrow. Then I can concentrate on the setting up, which I think will be the most fun ;)
Its a hornby train set i recieved of my wife a few years ago, the Flying Scotsman set, which has been gathering dust all this time. Cant wait to get it up and running:biggrin:

Never had one - my dad was most disapointed I preferred Scalextric..... son want's a Hornby set, but we don't have room for a permanent one...and he's a bit young to appreciate it (8 years).

Where are you setting it up ?

The attic, I spent five hours clearing it to make room, as it was already converted when we moved in 16 years ago, but iv just filled it with things over the years.

It's my birthday today and I have been given a baggage car for my Swiss double decker train. Got a lorry train for Christmas. Now just waiting for coaches for my Eddie Stobart engine. Mr. Yoyo has built the layout in the attic and is building a model of Leeds station in the days of steam. I contaminate his track with my continental mixture and anything I see that I fancy!

Have fun, Col!

I was looking longingly at an O gauge pannier tank loco in the Model shop in the Trafford Centre today. It was about £700 I think. I wish I had the space to give it a branch line and some trucks and carriages.
