The subject of warm gloves is still a mystery to me after donkeys years (a lifetime, in fact) of riding a bike. Some folks have got unbelievably good circulation whereas others could wear electronically heated gloves and still have cold hands. We had a young lady in our group one Saturday many moons ago and the weather was bloody freezing. She wore no gloves and her hands were toasty. How's that work? My own solution to cold hands was lobster mitts made by Sealskinz. Cost a few bob but they actually worked. I wouldn't say they were waterproof but as long as my hands are warm I don't mind them being wet. Sadly they're getting on in years, like me, and the filling has gone a bit 'flat' but they still work after a fashion. I've ridden all winter outdoors and only missed odd rides due to ice and my hands, though not toasty, are warm enough.
