I miss the old Beeb Rugby special on BBC 2, that's where I got my rugger fix.
Now the Mens 6 is over, there's the Women's to watch, sure the women's game isn't as technical, or as brutal, but I reckon it's just as skilfull , if not more, where they don't use strength, they use guile..... different ways to skin that cat.

The England Italy game was definitely on TV on Sunday.

For general rugby content I recommend the Scrum V top 5 series on BBC iplayer. They are only 20 mins long each.
It is very Welsh focused but really fun and informative. World class Welsh players picking their top 5 players from various categories.
The token English guest was Will Carling and he was very funny. I didn’t know his dad played for Cardiff.

The Welsh/ English match was always going to be a non event, sure it was a high scoring game for the English but the Welsh offered no real obstacles.
I don't want to watch a non competitive game,
Where's the fun in that.
Sure there were other noncompetitive games , even seeing the French pulverised the Italians, but there was still a fission of excitement from the Italians who were playing good rugby.
The England/ French & Scots were very close, with a single point in it, four games but England ground a win out of it, even if there were calls of poor refereeing.
Just proves perhaps the teams are close to being equal.

Needed the 5th try then just to settle things.
Smith's yellow should have been a penalty try, though Finn nailed the conversion,
Quins second try was in part due to Bath having Stuart and Ewels both down injured.
Need to put them to the sword properly this half.

Quinns open the second half scoring.

Bath nearly score, knock on then Quins nearly score a superb try from the scrum before Bath get an interception try. Great few minutes of rugby.

Can’t see Barberry without thinking of The Scousers on Harry Enfield.

It’s all over as a contest now.
The questions are: can Quins get a bonus point try and can Bath get the half century.

Looking forward to the next match too. Could be a cracker.
