Mr WD wants some fish so we will go to the chippy soon. I am having chicken casserole from the freezer.

Our chippy has recently changed hands. It’s supposed to be better. Haven’t had one in years. It’s getting so expensive now anyway.

Well I have been robbed.
Up at 5.30, listened to SoTS then back to bed for 2 hours. While there I went to the pub, bought a pint and paid with a 20 pound note.
They gave me my change as 20 tea bags, a fiver and a load of change.
Just woke up and can't find it !!!!
Should I call the police ?

Yes, a pub near me is advertising a fish n chip special at £12.95.
At Aldi I can get 2 battered cod steaks for less than 4 quid.
100% cod fish fingers are even cheaper.
Beyond me.

I cooked breakfast/ brunch. It's my Saturday treat and I enjoy doing it. Fried mushrooms and tomatoes, wilted spinach, hash browns, veggie sausage and baked beans with a generous splash of Hendersons relish. I slice the mushrooms and dry fry them with a lid on the pan. That way the moisture from the mushrooms evaporates and runs back into the pan intensifying the flavour, add a nob of butter and give the pan a good shake for a minute or so to make sure they are coated and golden. 😁

I have been feeling very stiff (in my legs - stop it you pot!!!) for the last few days
might try going for a walk instead of a ride and see if that helps

I’ve just binged the entire second series of Black Snow. Quite enjoyable. I do like a good binge. So much easier to follow the storyline than just watching something once a week.
