As per previous conversations regarding TV Licences.. We don't have/watch 'live' television broadcasts and haven't for years.
We filled in the blurb on the website to declare that we don't.
A while ago we got a quite threatening & intimidating letter informing us that we had watched something on BBC iPlayer (and they told us what, where & when we watched it) We don't have iPlayer..
I put in a FOI request for the details of this allegation and, the following week, surprise surprise, we hadn't watched anything since we declared that we did not need a licence.
I can only conclude that they were attempting to scare us by using threars & outright lies.

This sort of thing makes me wonder if they could be sued for saying that they have proof that you have broken the law when you have not

If the put up big posters stating that YOU ARE A THIEF - then they could be sued for it
this is basically the same thing - accusing with no evidence

Today is THE DAY

6 months ago - almost to the day which makes me wonder about targets - I was diagnosed with Coeliac disease
treatment is a Gluten Free diet

OK - so far so good - annoying and expensive but there are worse things to have

so - a diet

so they organised this appointment with a dietician at the hospital
which is today


in the meantime - look at the Internet

which is fine for me - I can spot idiots on the internet quite well (notice how I am not expanding that comment!!!)

but if they gave that advise to some people - some of whom may be related to my wife! - then only the Gods know how much rubbish they would believe

I have seen some people who state it is absolutely essential to build a whole separate kitchen and the person with Coeliac can never again eat anywhere but that kitchen

anyway - maybe it will be worthwhile - but I have doubts!

Next doors puncture repaired and advice given on keeping the tyre pressureup to normal levels as the front was only at 20psi, normal range 40-50psi.
One load of washing done and on the line,

Good morning all.
8° here with a real mixed bag of weather in store. Not good for tomorrow with rain all day.
Bank holiday!! The BBC reckon the roads will be solid with traffic. All our married life, as far as I recall, we never went anywhere on bank holidays, maybe just a local walk etc.
Leave the queues to others. Just my opinion of course.
