It's a bit windy out there.💨
Some of our friends are coming round to see us this afternoon, so I have already cooked a lasagne, that will go nicely with jacket potatoes and salad for tea.

Good morning from a sunny Dorset. Blowy overnight, Mrs Tkk's physio came back early from a family camping trip to Bridport due to the wind, one of the four families who went decided to stick it out but relented when their tent blew down 😮.
Out for a run shortly, I will be trying out some new warm up techniques as recommended by Mo, if you don't hear from me for a while you will know where to point the finger 😁

Had a great night with our mates who stayed overnight.
Today we're all going to the market on Watchet Esplanade, then catching the train to Bishops Lydeard for a 'dash & splash' at the Quantock brewery.

Morning. Horrific weather, again. Todays challenge will be to make sure cat goes outside and has a pee etc there. We have 3 and 2 of them no problem at all, out in all weather when need arises. The 3rd one not so much so needs "encouragement".

Molly is an indoor cat so it’s me that needs to clean up after her. 😻


I’ve had a 6.4 mile trail walk up one side of the river, over the bridge and back the other side.

We are more posherer than wat you are. Brown and grey are so drab don't you know.
We have blue (recycled), green (garden waste), and a nice shade of black for general waste

Same colours as us round here

At least we don;t have bright purple ones!!!

Off to Chester today so SWMBO can be there for the soon-to-be-daughter-in-law's bridal dress fitting

I am going to try to slope off and go and look around some of the more interesting shops before I get dragged round some "other" shops after they finish

The plan was that "the girls" would all go together
but apparently the bride's sister is driving (she is the only one who does) and she doesn;t like going across "The Bridge" and prefers to use the tunnels

I have no clue why - the tunnels scare a lot of people - but the bridges are just roads nowadays

anyway - gotta leave soonish I think

It's now time for a few exercises to loosen the knee up which is a little stiff today..
