Ok just waiting for the warmth to hit the side of the house about another hour.then the final coat of paint on the security gate over the kitchen door. Now a tip for one and all.If your other half asks, can you paint this that or the other.don't do a good job.i have now been contracted to decorate the living room.we start later today, visiting B & Q,looking at paint colours. We shall be clearing the room later this week. The gate took four coats what a mucky rusty state it was in.White Matt oiled based paint, none of this water based tat.plus i am not keen on gloss finishes. The room will have satin wood woodwork.More tips as i progress.

Off out in a minute to erect some advisory 20mph signs for the parish council for everyone to ignore.

Talking of road laws, it has been well advertised around here that they are clamping down on pavement parking so people should know however on my morning walk I noticed a pickup that was parked half on the pavement on the street behind me had a ticket. Not much sympathy as it’s a pain for people with prams, wheelchairs, mobility scooters, etc.

Councils should take over the fining, they'd make a fortune here. Easily more than from just over staying/not paying (& displaying).

Well - she had to do it

My wife has had an email from The Speaker's Office

Had to go one better!!!

I have sent a few emails for our local MP - Derek Twigg - no you won;t have noticed him

anyway - I sent one a week or so ago about recent changes to that was Coelac disease people get help from the NHS - which is slowly being withdrawn area by area

so I wroue to him asking him to talk to people about stopping this happening

anyway - as usual I got a nice reply but this time it was followed up with a response form the Minister and some other follow up stuff

which I mentioned in passing

so she has now written the The Speaker of the House about some procedural issues and how they are schedules

and has a reponse from him - quite a reasonable one which implies he will keep an eye on the situation!!

sooooo

what can I talk to Sir Keir about??

or King Charles???

I have had a 19 mile bimble. 2 days in a row. Shock, horror!

It was actually quite enjoyable. Roads weren’t too busy and anyone that did pass did so carefully.

Had a lovely chat with my Dentist Dr Anetta. She took a couple of X rays and had a scrape around between the teeth and at the gum line before giving them a bit of a polish. " Come back in 9 months to a year, and keep using the interdents ". All good and only
£27 to pay😎
Another warm and sunny day, the last couple of weeks have been glorious, fingers crossed 🤞 this continues all the way to November 😁☀️
