Good morning all.
A chilly 2⁰c out there at the moment, but a sunny day forecast with a high of 13⁰c.
Our son is calling in this morning at some point. He is our version of @welsh dragon 's bin, although he is now 37, so i expect we will go out for lunch , i think it is my turn to pay.
He and his mates have been up in the Lake District over the weekend walking various route, they all met in the Beavers, then Cubs and went right through to Venture Scouts and are all still very good friends.
On more mundane news, I have put in a repeat prescription request for the Statins I am on, and some more painkillers. I am weaning myself off of them slowly but it's always good to have some in reserve, in case I need them.
Other than that, more exercises, which are becoming easier and far less painful and difficult.
Enjoy your day everyone :cuppa:

Good Morning. :sun:

Two days of serious childminding ahead. One set of parents are in London for work................ collect #2SP at 8.00 today, back to our place, then back to her house this evening, sleepover with her and deliver to nursery at 8.00 Tuesday.................then back in the car, collect #1SP and bring her over to our house and deliver her back home late Tuesday afternoon. I will be nackered by then.......................

The obvious option is for #2SP to sleepover here, the downside to that is on Tuesday morning I would have a rush hour journey to north Manchester to take her to nursery. M61/M60 at 8.00am with an unhappy 18 month old?????? Nope!

I is back after 3 hours kip.
Garden is covered in frost.
Only thing I must do is cancel tomorrow's appointment at the dentist. I am having my bottom teeth cleaned so as to match my new top gnashers but the abscess is still painful and I have 3 weeks worth of antibiotics left so need to give it a chance.

Bonjour. I
Being pension pay day today, I was expecting to receive our massive triple lock pay rise so I could pay for my hair cut later, but no. I guess it will be next month then.

Morning all :hello:

Sorting out the Bantam wiring this morning - deep joy.
I've got the brake light working and that's all; no lights, horn or ignition. Might be something simple or could take all day.

Off out in a minute to erect some advisory 20mph signs for the parish council for everyone to ignore.

Isn't it the standard to stand there in hi-vis pointing a hairdryer at approaching cars while the local paper takes photos of your "concerned" expression???

and the "readers" can then post comments in the paper about where the mains lead was plugged in??
