Me? Why does it happen to me? On Thursday I purchased a chain waxing kit from Merlin. They're only five miles from home. Said kit is made up of one bottle of chain stripper, the other of wax. I decided to read the instructions........read the first bottle. Fine. Started to read the second........hmmmm this seems familiar.......where have I read this before? Oh, yes. A minute ago on the other bottle. My kit has two bottles of wax and no stripper. Hrrrrmmmpppphhh.

Afternoon folks 
had a pleasant spin today, sunny with a cold easterly which was freeze drying the right side of my noggin [was wearing a beanie too].
Been on a plant buying spree.... Bought a Morello, Damson, Jostaberry, winter jasmine and a Chaenomeles,
Was going to get a dwarfing rootstock for the Morello but thought i'll be dead when it gets too big for the garden!
Buying trees certainly highlights ones mortality/longevity.
* a Jostaberry is a cross between a gooseberry and a black current, reckon it will make a really nice crumble

Yes, just a shame they have been so poor the rest of the season. If Dundee had lost yesterday we might have been in with a chance of staying up but it’s not looking good sadly. It’s a while since they’ve dropped, although the last two seasons have been touch and go.
