Well imo that is a very valid reason, unless you want a bed full of it.
Thinking about it, that is a good reason for wearing underpants. It might at least minimise the damage**🙂
**Of course 'Y' fronts would be more successful than lose boxers.

Good on her for being willing to at least try one. I never had any success getting dad to understand or use modern technology. I even paid for broadband for him for a couple of years as he could have kept in touch with his brother and family out in Oz, etc but he just never used it.

I am going to go to a funeral service at 11 for my neighbour who lived over the road for all the time I have lived here. It’s in the chapel, so being Church of Scotland I’m not sure what to expect from the service.

A bit overcast and muggy here again.

Re the service.
I would like your honest thoughts on it.
I am always interested, particularly WHY people choose a particular religion (I suspect that, for most, its what they were born into.

Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.

Being from an Southern Irish family, of course Catholicism was the only religion. It was a given. Just about all 5 of us siblings bar my sister were never believers. My mum and dad were though, so a Catholic service it was all be a shortened one. We didn't want the mass for my mum. It was over in 20 minutes then onto the cemetery.

Good day. Astonishingly heavy showers all night. Short, sharp bursts of rain for maybe one or two minutes. Wet and breezy now.

Tuesday. Small person day. I have five pages to catch up, will do later. Speaking of curry, as you are, Blackburn has many excellent curry houses. We're going to one in Preston on Friday evening, Mowgli specialises in Indian street food.

Right then, must love you and leave you.

:hello:

I have risen!

Anyone watch 'Wolf' last night on BBC1?
I quite liked it, but it is very strange.
Part 2 tonight.

Yes - there does seem to be a trend for cop shows recently that make very little sense for the first episode or two

I am assuming that this one will be worth the effort by the end

Anyway - physio today - was supposed to have an appointment many many weeks ago but it never arrived
rang and arranged one - again never happened
rang again - all booked - but the letter telling me when and where arrived the day after the appointment!
so today it is at 9:30-confidentally expecting a fire alarm at the Health Centre at 9:25!

after that I had better steam mop the kitchen before some archeologist enter and start digging a trench looking for Roman artefacts - it is rather grubby looking suddenly!

Morning all :hello:

Had rain overnight here in Chapmanslade and looking showery today.
We all went to Nunney Castle yesterday and had a nice lunch in the George.
The gang's splitting today - two couples are going shopping in Frome and MrsD & I are going to visit three Iron Age hill forts.
Shopping really isn't my preferred activity at any time, especially when it involves hours of mooching around charity shops.
