ahh, but..... are you sure that is an appointment for a check-up of your teeth, rather than just to measure the thickness of your wallet?

Well its NHS but even so I expect the wallet to be considerably lighter.
I know for certain of 4 fillings that are needed PLUS a good clean and descale.

I've just made four small portions a prawn curry, tomorrow I'll make four small portions of chicken and mushroom curry and finely small portions of potato and cauliflower curry (Aloo Gobi) all to go in the freezer.
The plan is to do some spicy rice and have a mixure of the ones above.

Well I survived the trip to the shopping park, it was interesting, we used the Bus On Demand on the way there, even with a diversion to pick up a women going to her husbands care home we saved a quarter of an hour, I also got a look at the cycle path they're building on the Binley Rd, we took the scheduled number three home and got to see parts of Coventry we don't normally see, the disappointment was that the M & S food hall cafe was full, we had to use the near by Morrison's, its been years since we last were in there and it hasn't improved any.

Why can DIY be so testing? Our daughter asks me to put a new letter box on her front door, new handles and new lock. Because her house is 100 years old, nothing is straightforward and it took me ages just to do the letter box and that's enough for today. Tomorrow, I will do the other two, hopefully.
The photographer came this morning and did her job. The brochure and video should be ready for our approval in a few days. Let's hope this new agent will be better than the other one.

Fitted new windows to one of the sheds. Had some bronze polycarbonate twinwall left over from the garage roof roof so that is now a shed window, and looks very smart too.

I find DIY easy.
I just pay someone else to do it 😀

Still no let up in the rain.

Monthly money reconciliation completed - usual positive cashflow.

Tax return completed. I think my tax paid is accurate they think I have overpaid by £267 and are asking how I want it paid back to me. My accountant mate confirms I am correct!

Got my gym session done although I was very demotivated - weather dragging me down!

Shower next and then I am cooking a balti for tea tonight.

Which is why the shelves in my house rather redefine the concept of horizontal!!!

As a side note - we have a display thingy in the lounge - made of 3 interlocking circles of wire with3 shelves inside

I made a point of being EXTREMLY careful to try to get it right
spirit level on shelves at all time


I was very pleased with myself when I finished and the level showed it was perfectly level - not even a little bit out

SWMBO took one look at it and said it was wonky again - she is used to it so was not annoyed

BUT I WAS!!!
it was perfect!!
I checked again and it was still just right - I commented that it was the best I have ever done so we looked again
she was looking at one shelf while I was measuring using the other 2

Turns out that the shelves are not level WITH EACH OTHER
so no matter how well you put the thing up - it always looks wonky from one side or the others

Probably the only one I have ever done right - and the manufacturing means that it STILL looks wonky!!!!

Cheers , I will need it . 😀 Wind forecast for the three days is in the 15 to 25 mph range added to 7 races means I will hurt in places I didn’t know I had 😂.
We are not camping this year as it’s at Hollowell which is only 30mins away from Coventry but this is a doubler edged sword. On the plus side we are sleeping in our own bed , on the downside a lot less painkilling wine will be consumed 😂😂.

Anyway there is no dropping out now as we are just back from loading the boats on the trailer .
