Good morning all.
MrsP had her faceache account hacked into yesterday and a message was sent to all her contacts with a link to a porn film she supposedly was in😳. She is now changing all her passwords etc.
It is a bit breezy outside with more rain coming this afternoon.
I'll be out with the dog soon, and then out on the bike for a while. 🚲

Up early - not required as we stayed up late last night watching some recorded stuff on the telly

I think the last one was CRIME or something - we have had so many to catch up on I get them confused and only know what SWMBO is on about when I see the characters
anyway - it was getting to the end - only it turned out not to be the end and we must have another one to go

so not happy about being up early (for me - mid afternoon for some of you lot!)
especially as I have to be awake this afternoon as there is a kids birthday thingy for nephew's 2 year old so I will have to be sociable

anyway - no rain and the ground is dry so noneovernight either - dunno what you lot are on about!

Morning all

Went to Compton Abbas airfield at lunchtime yesterday and was amazed at how busy it was - car park was rammed and there were loads of folk around. There was also a sign saying 'Car park £10 per car'. What?!! It was free last time we went.
I asked what it was about on the gate and was told that it was 'Spitfire weekend' - well, we paid up (4 in the car so only 2.50 each) and went in.
Sure enough, there was a two seater Spit being loaded up as we got there. Some lucky B had coughed up the 3K for a 30 minute trip.
Was great to stand so close as it fired up and took off. It was an added bonus that made our day.
My mate Bob has started saving for his 70th..........

The airfield is owned by Guy Ritchie and he also has a brewery that produces some half decent beer......which we had to try.

Morning all, spent a good 4 hours in the sun 😲 listening to some decent bands and then some lass murder 80's music. Couldn't be bothered traipsing back for the evening. Rained overnight and very windy today on the east coast, planning on more music this afternoon but think the 'festival' shelter will have to stay at home, well 'charming 2 bed holiday cottage' 🤔 Booked into the local Indian for the evenings repast so could be fun in the morning especially with Mrs OFF having a stoma bag and not yet having risked a curry since the operation 😱

Must leave room for my curry and rice later.

To be rectified as soon as your able.
I mean you get there and the fridge were bare. Next time you might have no sausages either. Then what'll you do?

A light lunch...then off out to the Dacia dealer in Milton Keynes for a test drive. Mrs D works just across the road so knows where it is.

Extremely late night. Up till about 6.30am, woke up at 11am, looked out of window and it was a horrible dark vista akin to something out of Mordor. Snuggled back down and finally got up at 1pm. Quiet day today, early night for us planned so will probably get to bed by 11pm.

Our idea of hell on Earth.

We both have very little affinity with children and mercifully we live so far away from our kids that we avoided the small grandchildren years.

Fair play to those that love having their grandchildren around though.
