Good morning all.
Just about to get up so I can lock the garden gate after mrs exlaser and our daughter go out on a club ride . It should make be feel guilty about not riding this year, but it hasn’t.
I must shake myself out of this slump that’s lasted about a year now . It’s the longest I’ve not ridden since I learnt to ride aged 4 . ☹️

As a aside I was just wondering, what age did you all learn to ride ? 😀😀
(I suppose for most people it’s in that 3 to 6 age range . )

Approx 8 or 9 I think.
Dad bought me a real rust box and painted it with the only paint he had open......bright yellow, it was awful.

Is it safe to assume you're all tucked up, in your own beds, by now. Ready for an early start to Saturday.

Far from - 2.30am last night (this morning).

We have a couple of good friends where she goes to bed at 9pm and he goes at 10pm every night.

Passionless marriage and her earlier time is an avoidance technique.

Sad when the fire goes out of a relationship. Seems to be a by-product of long-term familiarity, shifting personalities and the severed joint interests of empty-nesters, all of which can come with age.

I must have been about 5. My parents bought a blue bike with no stabilisers. My dad took me out and we came back 20 minutes later. He said to my mum: " That's it, he can ride a bike now."

I learnt to ride a bike without stabilisers by my Mum running round teh garden with me - my Dad was disabled so he just watched

My daughter was unsuer about it so I put the relelvant spanners in the car boot whenever we took the bike out somewhere - which we normally did
Then one day she decided to give it a try in a Nation Trust car park after closing time. I held her upright firmly for a few runs thenit bacame less and less firm
Then she got to the end of a strait bit and suddenly stopped and shouted "Dad why are you back there?????"
I commented that I hadn;t actually helped he for the last 3 runs so she could ride it now - she rode round and round the car park for about an hour before the staff kicked us out so they could lock up!

Can’t be bothered going back out today. There’s triathlon on telly so that will keep me amused.

Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.
Now we have had a few days of rain, the pond has filled itself back up to the top. Looks quite nice now Mr WD has taken out lot of weed.
